Small-Group Language Learning
Pine Island Tutors offers small-group language courses for adult beginners, continuing learners, and friends or community groups who want to study together. Classes are kept to a capped size so every participant has room to ask questions, practise, and stay involved.
The course format follows a clear path: inquiry, level screening, group and timetable matching, confirmation of course terms, enrolment, scheduled lessons, guided practice, and a progress review. This helps each group start at the right level and move forward with structure.

Our term courses are built for learners who want focused support and regular speaking time.
Our term courses run for 10 weeks with 2 lessons per week. We also offer beginner small-group courses, elementary and intermediate courses, group conversation workshops, intensive language courses, and private group courses, depending on learning goals and availability.
Lessons are available in ts'q'alt'ubo and online. Progress depends on starting level, attendance, independent practice, learning needs, and course duration, so each learner’s experience may differ.
